Truffles Live Disease Update

Thursday

It’s been 3 weeks since I thought she was going to skip off into kitty heaven. After blood tests and a day at the vet, with medication prescribed and a diagnosis of liver disease, she’s done quite well since. The main thing is she is eating and she is happy. She has regained some of her playfulness and is not quite so clingy. She’s on the cortisone on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. I’m skipping Wednesday and Sunday.

Yesterday, Mike threw a shirt on her. She didn’t like it but she didn’t know quite what to do with it…hey what’s this…

I don’t like it…

I’ll just ignore it (and you) then…

This morning she hopped on our bed. Mike grabbed her and put her in the bed between us. She meowed in protest but didn’t try to escape. Ah it’s a cat’s life..

Today we haven’t been down to Echo. Julian arrives and we are heading to the airport shortly. We’ll go to the site afterwards. David said a massive flat-bed delivery truck arrived to bring something. Things will happen this next week when the first foundation is thrown. I had to pay another small bill for steel so that will be collected on Monday.

Mike is working feverishly on the electricity and solar plan which is looking pretty good.

Let me get this posted so I can get ready for the airport run.

Deuteronomy 7:6

You are a holy people to the Lord your God; the Lord your God has chosen you to be a people for Himself, a special treasure above all the peoples on the face of the earth.

These are the days.

Keep the smile going.

God bless you.

In His Grip,

Helga xx 🙂
