A Good Work Day

Wednesday

When you build a house, every penny counts. While I’ve been working a 4 hour day, most weeks, I get excited to get enough work to fill 6 hours. Today was one of those! I also managed to get out and have tea with friends. There had to be a casualty – it was gym.

After a lengthy afternoon session, Mike and I went down to Echo…the chute was in use today. A lot more of the rubble has been carried off…

The back of the basement is very visible…

The shuttering is hanging about ready to be placed…

This is the massive rock wall…

Time is going to pass – bit by bit the building will go up. Perspective is everything. This time last year we were waiting for the plans to be completed. I wonder where we will be this time next year! Our plan for this year was to be on the ship right now. Just as well we swapped cruises. There have been so many decisions to make over the last week. Mike has been to the site at least once a day and sometimes (like today) twice. He’s keeping his finger on the pulse and his eyes on the levels. And we’ve only just begun. To save money, Mike is doing the electrics himself but needs an extra pair of hands – guess whose? Right.

Time to wrap up the day.

John 15:16

You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide, so that whatever you ask the Father in My Name, He may give it to you.

Words of Jesus.

These are the days.

Keep the smile going.

God bless you.

In His Grip,

Helga xx 🙂
