Train Service Restarts

Monday

Today was the day…

The train service between Fish Hoek and Simon’s Town restarted. Since we moved in almost 2 months ago it hasn’t been operational. I think the service was suspended at lockdown and it didn’t start up again…until today. Suddenly there were trains snaking, creaking and squealing their way along the coast and each time they go by, we catch a glimpse of them….

It’s added more flavour to the day.

Today, Mike and Courage worked on the solar. As there was drizzle they weren’t able to get onto the roof to connect the panels, but possibly that can be done tomorrow.

It was a good work day for me.  I think the days will get a little slower work-wise over the days ahead. Looking forward to the Christmas break.

Tonight the President speaks. More restrictions are coming.
