Glorious Sunday Weather

Sunday

Today was the day…

The sun shone, the sky was blue, the wind was gentle and the sea was calm.

It was a beautiful day.

There was no load shedding! πŸ™‚

We all bid Stacey, Adrian and Elsie farewell as they headed back to Swellendam.Β  It was so good to have them and I am sure they will come again.

Not long after they left, Mike and I put on our swimming costumes and walked down to the beach. We walked quite a long way along it and then turned back, bumping into someone we know and having a natter. We then went for a swim. The shark nets were in place so I swam to the blue barrel again. It was harder work than last time because the tide was coming in, so I was swimming against it. On my return, while I was swimming with the tide, I was swimming against the north wind that provided gentle resistance. Good exercise over all and much more fun than swimming at the gym. I just need to remember to take my goggles next time.

We came home for breakfast which was just a snack.

Lunch was leftovers. This afternoon, Mike has rested and Julian went for a ride on his motorbike.

Now, I’m going to do some work, because I see there are about 140 emails in one of the inboxes I am responsible for clearing. Let me start that now.

John 14:21

The one who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I too will love them and show Myself to them.

The best is yet to come.

Keep the smile going.

God bless you.
