The Piles are Done!

Today, I sent a message to one of the neighbours close by to the Echo property – “your peace has returned”. The roar of the compressor fell silent. The workers attached it to their truck and rolled on out. The piles are done.

There are 13 piles and they will stand us in good stead for a solid build. We also had a profitable meeting with one of the neighbours as well as the builder and architect. We are moving forward with the city’s prescribed objection process as the 6th  neighbour is still stone-walling us (he now wants ‘compensation’), so we’ll get the process started and if he comes to his senses in the next couple of weeks we’ll get his no objection form in.

It’s going to be interesting to look back on today’s blog in a year’s time and see how far we are then. The objection process will push the build back several months but at least we are still moving forward.

We end today positive. We walked to Harbour Bay for dinner. A beautiful evening.

I always remember 30th May being the last day I was at CCFm. It was Friday 30th May 2014. I could never in my wildest dreams imagined what my life would be like 5 years on. I have a full heart.

Colossians 3:16

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly.

These are the days.

Keep the smile going.

God bless you.

In His Grip,

Helga xx 🙂

Gym:

Today was just too busy. I did not get to gym, but I did walk and I have 269 more steps to take to get to 10000.
