The Moon & Venus…

5-27pm

Today has been a different sort of day because Mike took the day off to have a great chunk taken out of his arm. He’d had a ‘freckle’ on his left arm just below is elbow. The dermatologist didn’t like the look of it so took it out. The result came back as the worst possible kind of skin cancer but it had not spread and was ‘in-situ.’ The only problem was they felt they hadn’t taken enough. So operation number two was booked in hospital for today and they took a massive piece of flesh out of the same spot. The also took another couple of lesions off his chest and shoulder.  He went into the hospital at about 9-30am and was home by 2pm, starving hungry. I gave him a snack and then cooked early and we ate at 4pm! Meantime, David has been house-sitting so we haven’t seen much of him. He pitched up hungry, had a bit of a chat,  ate and left! 🙂

Meanwhile, back at CCFm, this is Lynette, who tomorrow becomes a Granny!…

It was a beautiful day. Muizenberg Beach from CCFm Balcony…

A little later on in the morning, I nipped into a coffee shop and did show prep while enjoying one of these…

I love getting work done while sitting at a coffee shop. I seem to think more creatively and am more focussed.

Last night Mike & I enjoyed an incredible view of the Crescent Moon with Venus very close by. Unfortunately, Mike’s camera lens was not potent enough to do the sight justice, but this does give you an idea of how close they were to each other…

The star on the left is Jupiter. (Pity about the telephone wires).

This is zooming in on the Moon and Venus…

Psalm 147:4 He determines the number of the stars and calls them each by name.

Imagine THAT!

In His Grip,

Helga xx 🙂
