Seeing Echo from Elsie’s Peak Ridge

Monday

Yesterday we climbed Elsie’s Peak. I haven’t been up there for ages – at least a few years.  It was a beautiful day…

While we did go to the top which was really windy, our main reason was to look over the ridge and see what we could see of our house. You can just see the house with the build in the back, but it’s tiny…

The view over the bay and Fish Hoek is spectacular from up there….

It was a wonderful walk and we will definitely be doing it more often.

Today the builder got back and the basement light steel frame arrived…

A few workers were on site and they took most of the shutter ply boxing off the concrete…

I think they will be breaking for Christmas. This evening we sat up there and had tea… the evening view…with a light north wind blowing.

Tomorrow is Christmas Eve and the Swellendam family arrive. We’ll all have breakfast together and then exchange gifts with Julian before he  heads back to Johannesburg.

It’s been a good day.

Philippians 4:6

Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank Him for all He has done.

These are the days.

Keep the smile going.

God bless you.

In His Grip,

Helga xx 🙂
