Preparing the Land

Monday

Today I have had a catch up day. I caught up with work and rest. The only outing I had was to Echo because the builder needed some direction. Mike and I went down to the site to see the workers preparing the land. They have started with a new access point to the right of our current entrance…this is taken from the road.

This is looking down from the patio…they have worked very hard…

Looking up at building site, they have started clearing land for the steps…

There are loads of rocks on the property – a proper retaining wall will be built along this ledge…

I found an OLD picture of Fish Hoek online today – it comes from the Fish Hoek Valley Museum.

Amazing that it used to be like that. Just a couple of cottages and hardly any access. It’s so built up now and we are adding to it. There’s a little stirring of excitement in my heart.

Talking of stirrings in my heart, I can’t let this blog end without reflecting that TODAY 8 years ago, in 2011, I had one of my most memorable and moving supernatural experiences. You can read about it here. So grateful.

Proverbs 4:5

Get wisdom; develop good judgment. Don’t forget My words or turn away from them.

Such appropriate advice. God is within her; she will not fall. God will help her at the break of day.

Amen.

These are the days.

Keep the smile going.

God bless you.

In His Grip,

Helga xx 🙂
