Overslept

It was one of those nights where we ended up only going to sleep at about 1am! Mike and I were up discussing and cogitating over the design of the house. It is going to be a lot smaller than initially planned. In order to fit the allowed envelope we have to downsize, which is not a bad thing. It’s just an adjustment and probably a good one. It won’t be tiny. It will just be smaller than what we are used to.

After finally falling asleep, I woke up around 5am and saw a new development online and started looking at floor plans again. Mike woke up and we both looked at them. We fell asleep again and by the time I woke up, I’d missed my regular gym departure time! I had to rearrange the day. I worked first, then went to gym, then showered and by then it was 1pm.

This afternoon Riana &  I had a two-hour training session via Skype with one of our colleagues in the UK. With the recent drama involving 50 teachers returning from China due to illegal entry and work, it was a good session to have as it involves the Edvectus way of recruiting teachers to teach English in China.

It has been cold. Winter is certainly here. Working from my bed has become a bad, but necessary habit! It’s so warm in bed and difficult to resist popping my laptop on my board and doing any and all work that needs to be done.

#703 of my 1000 thanks is that I get to work from my bed. Tomorrow it should rain. I think I won’t be moving too far from where I am now!

Proverbs 10:9

Whoever walks in integrity walks securely, but he who makes his ways crooked will be found out.

These are the days!

Keep the smile going.

God bless you.

In His Grip,

Helga xx 🙂

Gym:

I did something different today. I warmed up with 6 minutes on the treadmill. Then I did the Big 5. There are 5 exercises, each done for a minute before getting a two-minute rest. Then you do it all again. Have a two-minute rest and then you do it all again. It was intense. I will be stiff tomorrow.

After that lot, I still hadn’t done half an hour, so I worked out on a whole lot of other machines and ended with 8 minutes on the cross-trainer. I’d done enough!
