Phoning Google

How easy was that? You would think phoning Google would be difficult. I didn’t even have to phone them. I put in a request and within a minute they phoned me. It all began when I went to buy a Google Play voucher and when I went to scratch the tab for the code, it was damaged…there was way too much glue!

This is what it was supposed to look like…

First I took it back to PnP where the manager explained that this was a huge mission. They don’t give money back on Play vouchers. You have to contact Google. She will email me the form I have to fill in. By this evening, that email had  not arrived, so I went online and looked up Google help. I just followed the process, uploading the picture above and requesting a phone call. Within a minute the call came in and within another few minutes the issue was resolved and my account credited. Yay! I thought I had thrown away R150. It was surprisingly easy. When I’m next at PnP, I’ll have to stop by the manager and let her know.

#704 of my 1000 thanks is that I got this Google play card sorted. You know how these kind of things can fall by the way side.

#705 of my 1000 thanks – this morning I was so grateful when I walked into the gym. The pool was closed for filling. Usually on a Wednesday I swim, but today I decided to do the Grid, so I went prepared for Gym. I would have been a bit cheesed off if I had gone in my swimming costume ready for 40 lengths and had to go home to get changed.

I’m learning attitude counts more and more in life. Life has so many ups and downs…. best to stay positive.

Today I also enjoyed arriving home. I got in from gym at about 9-15am and our bedroom curtains were still closed. Could this possibly mean that Mike was still in bed? I came inside and to my delight, he was! At last, after two years of retirement, he actually slept in! We celebrated!

I worked, I had tea with friends, I worked some more, I Skyped with a colleague, I cooked, we watched two episodes of The Good Wife. It was a good day!

Proverbs 12:15

The way of a fool is right in his own eyes, but he who heeds counsel is wise.

These are the days

Keep the smile going.

God bless you.

In His Grip,

Helga xx 🙂
