Monday on Tuesday

Tuesday

Today was the day…

That felt like Monday. Because I was off yesterday, my manager changed our weekly Monday meeting to today, so in all aspects it felt like Monday. It was very busy for work.

During tea and lunch breaks, I stripped the beds in the cottage and did the laundry. The bookings are trickling in at a slow but steady pace. Our 7th booking is for this weekend. We have an 8th scheduled for next month. I need 2 more before the end of next month to get to Super-host status! When that happens, your listing just gets bumped up the Airbnb website.  I’m really enjoying the hosting bit.

This morning Mike and I went to the beach. It was a lovely day – cool but sunny. The temperature of the water was 13.5, so it was pretty cold.

Today, Mike got stuck into moving stuff under the house. He moved all the wood from where it was on the dirt on the right side, to the passage-way so that we can start excavating more space under the house for shelving. It’s a compact space but can be used for a workshop.

A long long way to go.

This evening Julian arrives. In fact, he should be in an uber soon and trundling across the city.

I still have about 70 emails to go through, so I think I’ll do that while I wait for him to arrive.

Psalm 16:8

I have set the Lord always before me. Because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.

The best is yet to come – we are only passing through.

Keep the smile going.

God bless you.

In His Grip,

Helga xx 🙂
