When people face severe adversity and push through, making their lives matter, doing something that will encourage others, it’s inspirational. That’s what I thought when I fell upon this story on YouTube.
It’s worth the 20 minutes watching. Feel good stuff!
This morning we woke up at Echo and I enjoyed the majestic sunrise….
We had a leisurely early morning before cleaning and packing up. We headed on home to a hungry cat.
I did some work. Riana came and I handed a few things over to her to handle for the next week if necessary. It’s not going to be busy. I put my auto reply on and I am now officially on leave!
#991 of my 1000 thanks is for tooth pain! When my teeth are sore the braces are working. I don’t know why the pain comes and goes, but I’ll take it!
In a short while we will go out for carols and by the time that is over, Jess and Gerrie will have arrived. They are staying at Echo but will probably need a car so we’ll lend them the i10.
Maybe we’ll sit down tomorrow morning and discuss the Christmas plans. We drive to Swellendam on Christmas Day so won’t do a big Christmas lunch. We’ll probably have a Christmas Eve dinner after going to church at 6pm, then do an informal brunch on Christmas morning. That’s what I’m thinking anyway.
The kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking but of righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.
Sounds good to me!
These are the days.
Keep the smile going.
God bless you.
In His Grip,
Helga xx 🙂
