“I s’pose I should have my glasses on”

Sunday

Today was the day…

I cut Mike’s hair. He definitely has an advantage in getting his hair cut. We can pretty much do a reasonable job with his electronic hair clipper. I got it all done, cleaned up his neck and ended carefully trimming over his ears when I said, “I s’pose I should have my glasses on!” I must remember that for next time. Anyway, I’m now covered in hair. He’s in the shower and I will follow. He’s feeling much better. My hair has got so long. With no hair dressers, I’m forced into growing it.

I had such a cool Skype chat with Elsie (and Stacey). Elsie is certainly loosening up while on Skype with me and a couple of times said, “Hello Granny!” Just love it.

We went to the flat to have a look at the floors and decide how to manage them. Mike has now got a plan. They will be cleaned and then have a coat of varnish. That should work on brightening them up. After the flat we went to Echo and I sat and chilled on what will be Julian’s balcony. It was wonderful. Maybe in a year, I’ll be able to take another and if so, it will have a whole lot of building around me. You won’t see sky above me.

We hung out there for a little while before heading home for a late lunch and quiet afternoon.

This weekend is a holiday in the UAE that runs through to Tuesday so it’s pretty quiet on the work front and quite a pleasure.

Tonight the President speaks at any time from 7pm. Hopefully, he will bring us down to Level 3 lock down.

Regardless of our circumstances, we trust the Lord.

1 John 3:22

We will receive from Him whatever we ask because we obey Him and do the things that please Him.

Thy will be done.

These are the days.

Keep the smile going.

God bless you.

In His Grip,

Helga xx 🙂
