Today was the day…
I swam with a watch for the very first time. I’ve never done that before. I hardly noticed it, but it was fun seeing my route come up on my cell phone later when I was home and the information was downloaded.
Interesting to see that the temperature of the sea was 17C (it felt warmer) and the wind was 28 – it was blowing, but I’ve swum in worse. My time was not great, but I will improve. I love swimming out to the blue barrel. Today I swam a little beyond it. A short while later there was a lot of activity close to it so I stayed further away. The Stand-Up paddlers congregated there – that was after the surf-skiers. Then the inflatable came to put the shark nets out. All fun to watch.
We got home, showered and had breakfast. Saturdays we clean the house, so we did that. I shopped and in the evening Valerie-Gail came for dinner. It was a lovely evening.
