Dead Fish

Friday

Today was the day…

We walked to Simon’s Town and encountered dead fish on Glencairn beach. I  have no idea of why they were there or what happened. There were at least 4 of them spread out across the beach.

Dead fish…some say it’s due to a sudden water temperature change.

The walk to Simon’s Town is longer than I thought. More than 6km. This is entering Simon’s Town….

It was quite windy but we have walked in windier conditions before. At least there was no sand blasting!

Today was also the day, we bought a braai. This is something Paul and Nadine suggested we have when they came to the guesthouse. When taking Courage and Ruth home the other day, I passed a guy outside Masi selling half barrel braais. I asked Courage to find out how much they were and then today  Julian and Courage went to buy one. The guy Courage had spoken to wasn’t there but someone else was with this good deal – a half barrel braai for R350. It just needs a lick of paint…

Today was also the day my new swimming watch arrived. I enjoyed trying it out for the walk but tomorrow will be the day I select the swim mode! I’m looking forward to that, although it is going to be windy.

Yay, it’s the weekend and a long weekend too.

Ecclesiastes 3:12

I know that there is nothing better for people than to be happy and do good while they live.

The best is yet to come – we are only passing through.

Keep the smile going.

God bless you.

In His Grip,

Helga xx 🙂
