#331 of my 1000 thanks is for Stacey and Adrian, their wedding day and 8 very happy years with many rich blessings in their lives and more to come.
Psalm 138:8 is a beautiful Bible verse – I don’t think it is by accident that it comes up on 20th June each year.
“The Lord will fulfill His purpose for me; your love, O Lord, endures forever – do not abandon the works of your hands.”
He won’t!
Mavis, my home help, went back to the Transkei to build her house. Usually she comes on a Tuesday so this morning Mike and I got stuck in and cleaned the house. It was such a treat when it was done! I just have to vacuum clean our bedroom. I haven’t done that yet!
After a late breakfast we went for a walk around the block, admiring the beautiful greenness of the grass…this is what a little water does…
Meanwhile, down at the pond there, is a little more water to be seen…
That was after last night’s downpour. It’s actually looking pretty good.
It was a good day!
