Today I went into CCFm and did the Rise and Shine show. I just loved it. Quiet and meaningful. After the show, I headed into town to see Granny. I went with Julian last Sunday and wasn’t able to go on Wednesday because of the meeting at CCFm. Mike saw her Tuesday and Thursday and so I decided I must try and get to see her today. Besides a parcel arrived from Monica which I wanted to take her. We had a fabulous time, opening the present, handing out some sweets to the ladies and taking photos…
Here’s Granny with the lovely bedsocks Monica knitted…
She was thrilled with them. We sat and chatted for a while. I phoned Monica (Mike’s sister – Granny’s daughter in Pretoria) so Granny could hear her speaking. Granny was a bit bewildered, but she seemed to understand it was Monica and at the end she very softly said ‘goodbye.’Here are the staff with a couple of the ladies….
They are looking after Granny very well. Her skin feels so soft and the sore on her nose is just about completely healed. Here we are ‘talking with our eyes’…
After a lovely little visit, I headed home and have had a relaxing Good Friday.
