Good Things That Happened Today

Wednesday

This morning after I woke up, I heard the rain coming down. I will never complain about the rain, so I didn’t, but I was aware that my washing was still on the line. It got another rinse! But as the day has passed, the sun has shone and I am sure it is now dry. I’ll go out shortly and get it in. That was a good thing about today.

Another good thing about today, is that I paid my taxes, so that’s a job done. The irritating thing is that I found thousands of rands of receipts that had fallen out of my file! Grrrr. I’ve put them on the spreadsheet for the next time. I’m grateful to have sorted the tax.

The third good thing about today was my Payoneer card arrived. This is a debit card I used largely when I was working through Upwork. It was due to expire in a couple of months. I ordered a new one and it was to be sent from the UK regular mail. I didn’t know if it would arrive. Today it did and a week early too.

This afternoon Mike insisted I go for a walk with him. We went down to Sun Valley pond and it’s looking lovely and full. Birds are plentiful and it’s wonderful to hear them tweeting and buzzing around their homes in the reeds.

I have got the shredder out and am slowly shredding through old documents or those that have personal information on them and which I no longer need. It’s quite therapeutic. I’m going to get on and do some more of that this evening.

Oh, yes, and I worked.

Those are all the good things that happened today.

Colossians 1:19-20

God was pleased to have all His fullness dwell in Him, and through Him to reconcile to Himself all things, whether things on earth of things in heaven, by making peace through His blood, shed on the cross.

These are the days.

Keep the smile going.

God bless you.

In His Grip,

Helga xx 🙂

Gym:

  • I walked 5km, listened to all of Song of Solomon (so interesting to listen to it instead of read it).
  • Did the circuit.
