Elsie is Feeling Better

Wednesday

I woke a few times in the night wondering if Stacey and Elsie were getting any sleep at all. This morning the news came that they had about three hours sleep. Elsie’s tummy issues were not resolved so she was slightly sedated and a feeding tube was put in to get the right medicine down. Several hours later with a successful outcome, they are spending another night in hospital, before being xrayed tomorrow and then will go home. Stacey has said that Elsie has adjusted to her new surroundings and is much happier now. I’m hoping they will get lots more sleep tonight.

For me it was down to Echo at 8-30am to open to have it cleaned. The kerb has been done so now we can drive up it. I tried it out…much easier.

After that, I went to the grocery store and bought milk. Home, work and then this afternoon, Mike and I decided to walk to Echo. The day was spectacular. I took three photos from Highway Rd.

The sea looked majestic. If this is earth, I can’t imagine what heaven will be like.

We had a quick stop over and chat with David and then walked home, arriving at 6pm. I made dinner, we ate and then I cleaned the kitchen.

Time to wrap up the day.

Romans 14:17

The kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking but of righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

That’s good to remember.

These are the days.

Keep the smile going.

God bless you.

In His Grip,

Helga xx 🙂
