Christmas 2016

A very merry Christmas to you! Today is a spectacular day in Cape Town. Mike & I rose early and went down to the beach. It was perfect…

Fish Hoek Christmas Day 2016

There was a seal who enjoyed the sunshine and bent over backwards to see us…

Such a lovely day. We came home and at 8am, Julian and David arrived for mince pies, fruit, coffee and prezzies. That went down well.

From there it was to church, after which we came home and relaxed. In a short while we are heading back to Julian’s for Christmas lunch. We had a fabulous Christmas meal last night and today we are having leftovers. No cooking required! 🙂

I spotted this on Facebook and it summed up the meaning of Christmas.

Isaiah 9:6

forgiven

Jesus came so we could be forgiven.

#141 of 1000 thanks is that across the world, the Name of Jesus is spoken, His birth celebrated and His story told. I am content!

These are the days.

Keep the smile going.

God bless you!

In His Grip,

Helga xx 🙂
