Beach Day!

From early this morning I decided it would be a good day to swim in the sea! I got some work done first and eventually by 12 noon, Mike and I set off. We parked at the beach and walked up to Echo first to see how the work was coming on.  Fish Hoek beach looked timeless….

We walked along the Cat Walk…

Over the Sunny Cove bridge and up Echo Steps….

Such a happy walk.

The new temporary wooden stairs are almost finished. This just gives access to the building site. It still needs a handrail. They are pretty steep.

Meanwhile on the building site, some hard work is happening…

It’s hard to imagine how this is going to go down. There is SO much work still to do. The groundwork that is being done now is merely preparation for the build. It does not require the plans to be passed, but it will save a lot of time for when we finally have the green light.

After seeing the site, we walked back to the beach and I got to have a swim. The water was so warm…probably about 18 degrees. It was so refreshing. This afternoon, there was more work to be done, but now I’m finished and am about to head to the Mall for milk.

Colossians 4:2

Devote yourselves to prayer with an alert mind and a thankful heart.

These are the days.

Keep the smile going.

God bless you.

In His Grip,

Helga xx 🙂

Gentle 4km walk and a splash in the sea.
