Frozen Berries Make a Great Ice Pack

Thursday

This morning I went to gym early and completely overdid it. As soon as I got home, I went straight to the fridge, took out a packet of frozen berries and a packet of frozen peas and slapped a pack on each knee. The frozen berries make a great ice pack. The berries are heavier than peas and fit very securely over wincing knees. It worked perfectly. I followed it up with a hot shower and after that was good to go. Right now, I am feeling it and so I am on my bed with my legs up.

I did a few hours work. Riana visited for coffee. I worked some more this afternoon. David arrived at 4pm. He had to be in town by 5pm to set up for a gig tonight. When he left, Mike and I headed for Echo to see the outcome of today’s labour.

The temporary steps going up to the patio are all but finished. They just need a hand rail. This is them from the street…

The side view from our current entrance steps…

They are very steep but are only there for the builders and will be dismantled at the end of of the build.

They have built two more steps on the patio…

And steps have to go all the way up here…

This is such a lot of work and we are grateful to have a team to do it.

Dinner is about to happen and then Mike and I are going to settle down for a Grand Design.

Ephesians 6:18

Pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.

Good advice.

These are the days.

Keep the smile going.

God bless you.

In His Grip,

Helga xx 🙂
