Serious Slack-Attack Day

Friday

Today I had a serious slack-attack day. I only really ‘got up’ around 2pm! Before that, I did do some work, but it was from my bed and in my pajamas! Oh the joys of working from home. David came and we watched some of the rugby.

At 2pm, I decided to get some light exercise. I got into my gym kit and just before leaving I checked the postbox. My car licence renewal was there, so on the way to gym, I went via the Fish Hoek traffic department. After parking, I went inside and to my joy and delight there were very few people in the queue. In fact, I sat for about 15 seconds. I had planned to write the number of kilometres my car has done on the form (80555), but didn’t have time to before the teller called me. I quickly scribbled in the number, handed it to her and a minute later was out the door.

Yip, that easy!

Later this afternoon, Mike and I went round to Echo and a few more steps had been completed.

Werner stopped by and we had a chat. Work resumes on Monday! It is exciting. Julian arrives on Thursday so he will have a lot of new work to see. The Lord had a plan when He had us buy this little property, but we didn’t have a clue what was to come.

Yay! Friday evening. Weekend lies ahead!

Psalm 141:2

Let me prayer be set before You as incense, the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice.

These are the days.

Keep the smile going.

God bless you.

In His Grip,
