Today was the day…
I woke up at 5:30am thinking about some work I hadn’t done. I knew it would take some time so I got up and got to it. After 2 hours, I’d had enough. By then it was just before 8am. That’s when things got stressful. I had a phone call from an applicant who was about to interview with a school but hadn’t received the link. I told her to check her spam. It wasn’t there either. I got back onto my email and found the email sent to her with the link and sent it on. By then she was 5 minutes late for the interview. I felt so bad because when I got the link yesterday, I should immediately have contacted her to make sure she had received it as well. Live and learn.
Mike and I had coffee and then later than usual we went to the beach. Again the tide was low. The air temperature warm and consequently, the temperature of the water felt colder than usual – not that it was; it was about 14.5C. I spent almost 40 minutes in the water and really enjoyed it.
We went home, hot shower and breakfast. Then I did some bead work while Milo was vacuuming the floor. By the time that was done, it was afternoon. Mike and I went shopping and then relaxed for the rest of the afternoon. We went to friends for dinner and after getting home, we climbed into bed and watched some of a series. It was when that ended that I realised I hadn’t done my blog – hence the lateness of this posting.
