Work Day

It was good to have a normal day where work could get done. I went off to gym early, did some shopping and then got stuck in work. Five hours later I was up-to-date.

#499 of my 1000 thanks is for five hours of work! 🙂

Right now more email has popped up and I will get on with it right after this, as tomorrow is going to be taken up with Mike’s eye injection and then a meeting at the site where we want to build.

Mike got stuck into the garden, did all the weed eating and cleaned up around the house. The other thing that happened was that (finally) the Cape Town water department arrived to find out what needs to be done to fix our ‘lack of leak’. They say they will return tomorrow to replace the water meter. This is the one that should go.

We hope that that will be the end of it. However, it may not. It may be the lower pressure being imposed on us is causing a sort of back flow causing the meter to register water use when there isn’t any. We’ll soon find out.

As I sit here, I am listening to the TV blaring downstairs. We have just listened to Donald Trump’s announcement that the US embassy in Israel will be moved from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. It is recognition of Jerusalem being the capital of Israel. I thought it was quite a diplomatic speech, that tried to be sensitive to the other nations who are up in arms over the idea.

It is a historic day and it will be good to watch events as they unfold.

Interestingly, I’ve just read Psalm 122

Psalm 122:6

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: “May those who love you be secure.”

Amen!

These are the days.

Keep the smile going.

God bless you.

In His Grip,

Helga xx 🙂
