Winter Returned

Sunday

Thursday night it poured down. Friday there was rain on and off. Saturday was fairly clear, but today again we have had substantial downpours. It’s going to be interesting to see what the dam levels are. Before this series of cold fronts, the dam levels were 79.5%.  Rainy day from the lounge window…

The day was quite well apportioned. I was at gym right after 6am, drinking coffee by 7-30am, at church at 8am, shopping complete by 10am and sitting watching rugby at 11am. at 1pm we had lunch. At 2pm we were at Echo.

Now I’m tucked up in bed with my laptop. Mike is having a snooze.

Rugby was the word on everyone lips this morning. It’s the 2019 Rugby World Cup. South Africa won in 1995 and then again 12 years later in 2007. It is now 12 years on and we played Wales in the Semi-final. We played a scrappy game but won by 3 points. The final is next Saturday at 11am against England. Our 2007 final was also against the English. They are looking formidable so it’s not going to be a walk in the park. We are the underdogs and if we play the same as we did this morning, we won’t win.

I’m now going to do a bit of work. I’ve got a load of emails and may as well deal with the bulk of them before tomorrow morning.

Psalm 42:8

Each day the Lord pours His unfailing love upon me, and through each night I sing His songs, praying to God who gives me life.

Amen!

These are the days.

Keep the smile going.

God bless you.

In His Grip,

Helga xx 🙂
