2-48pm
Not much, I tell you! Granny woke late. I got her up around 9-15am and took her off to have a shower. Granny has not lost her sense of humour and fun. I took her hands off her walker to help her and while she was holding my hands, she started a little jig…swinging her hips from side to side…we had a good laugh. Although, she wouldn’t have been able to quite do this….
Thirty years ago, my late father-in-law and Granny used to go out dancing every Thursday evening. David’s extreme musical ability and Stacey’s musical ear, come from Mike’s side of the family, so she still has music & rhythm in her veins. After I got her showered and dressed, it was 9-45 and she sat down for breakfast of grapefruit, followed by egg on toast!
Then she sat in her chair and watched some telly…
….while I went back to bed! 🙂
At 1pm, I got up and cleaned up, made the bed, did a bit of housework and made tea! All the time there’s been a diet of two things served up on TV…
But, there’s more television viewing to come here at my house. THRREEE weeks ago….yes! It was booked up until this weekend. The third disk of the second series awaits watching…
So that should be fun! Although gob-smackingly drama-filled and fun to watch, within this period piece (current series based in about 1918), it becomes glaringly obvious what is good and what is bad…
Romans 12:9 Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good.
A relaxing day going down at my house today!
God bless you!
In His Grip,
Helga 🙂
