What to do about Granny…

3-44pm

What to do about Granny? That’s what has been going around in my mind since I saw an advert in the local paper about a lovely little home for the aged in Fish Hoek, for only 6 or 7 elderly folk. 24 hour care in a seemingly small and personal environment. It brings to the fore again the fact that maybe Granny would be better off with 24 hour care and not the part time care that we give her here.  I phoned for more info and was emailed the description which seemed absolutely ideal, but from R9100 a month!!! That is for full board and 24 hour nursing care, but it is still a bit out of our budget. As I thought about it, I realised that it is not really something we need to consider right now. We are all coping and she is happy and that’s the main thing!  I know that I would love to get more involved at CCFm and spend more time there and I am sure at the right time I will. Amazing to think that having worked at CCFm for the best part of 18 years, I want to spend MORE time there! LoL. 🙂

The sunrise from the balcony this morning was spectacular. I took this photo at about 5-48am…

The show went well with the big event of the morning being the arrival of our very first CCFm Rise and Shine coffee mugs…

Cool hey!

Our Ladies meeting was casual and the view spectacular. Such a beautiful day…

One of the best things ever about living in this magnificent city is the surrounding mountains and hills. It has been a treat trying to  memorise Psalm 121…I’ve almost got it…

I lift up my eyes to the hills. Where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. He will not let your foot slip. He who watches over you will not slumber. Indeed, He who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord watches over you. The Lord is your shade at your right hand. The sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord will keep you from all harm. He will watch over your life. The Lord will watch over your coming and your going both now and forevermore!

God bless you loads this weekend!

In HIS grip!

Helga 🙂
