What I Did Today … in Rhyme
First I started with the Rise and Shine Show
Holidays here, people sleep later you know
Quiet and pleasant with music to please
A happy 3 hours it was a breeze!
Then more music to hear and emails to write
People to see, but no battles to fight! 🙂
After 12 it was home with lunch to make
But instead of a salad, we had cake! 🙂 🙂
I then made a trifle complete with jelly
Had a little sitdown and watched some telly
Just after lunch the washing was done –
Took it all out and hung it in the sun
I swept and dusted, Granny helped me
And then we sat down and had some tea!
Philippians 4:11-12 I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry,whether living in plenty or in want.
It’s a process of learning! Contentment doesn’t come overnight! Attitude is everything!
