Visitors!

3-19pm

Today, visitors arrived! Last year when Mike & I visited the UK, the second wonderful friends we stayed with were Graham and Jenny & their son Steven. Tonight and tomorrow night we have the opportunity of returning the hospitality. We have such good memories of our two nights with them in Winchester, that we hope to send them home with equally warm and fuzzy feelings towards us and Cape Town!

I collected them from Somerset West and we returned along the coast road (Baden Powell Drive) where trek fishermen were at work. They got a small shark caught in their nets which they were quick to release….

We then drove over Boyes Drive. Cape Town at its best…

False Bay looked magnificent…

We came home and had a snack lunch. Now they have taken my car to the beach and I have done show prep, caught up with email and put dinner in the oven. When they get home, we’ll be ready to head up Silvermine for a walk. They are guaranteed to sleep well tonight with all this sun, sea air and exercise. It’s lovely to have them. Tomorrow – Table Mountain!

Today, Jacky, at our work prayer meeting, read out the verse related to my regular blog ending…”In His Grip”. It comes from Isaiah 43:13 The Lord is speaking – He says:-

From eternity to eternity I am God. No one can snatch anyone out of my hand. No one can undo what I have done.”

Just absolutely LOVE it!

God bless you loads,

In His Grip,

Helga xx 🙂
