Sunday
Today was the day…
We went to Muizenberg Market. The goal was to find second hand brass fixtures for our staircase hand rail and we were successful! R30 each!
After we had bought them, we bought a wors roll and sat on a sand dune overlooking the sea.
Mike on the sand dune…
And view from the dune…
We also went back to Gelmar and picked up new handles for the cupboards as the ones we got yesterday were not up to Werner’s standard! He’s built 19 houses, so he knows!
We dropped the things at Echo where the team were working. Those who want to work on the weekend are allowed to do so. Picture windows looking good…
This certainly is a room with a view…
Home for the afternoon. I went to gym and jawked 4km and then cycled for 30 minutes. There were so few people there, the internet was fast and YouTube flowed freely.
Afterwards, I went shopping and there were no ready cooked chickens so I bought a raw one and cooked it myself. Julian and David came for a very early dinner and we had a quick Skype with Stacey and Elsie.

Isaiah 40:31
Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
Someone needs that message tonight. Hope in the Lord.
The best is yet to come.
Keep the smile going.
God bless you.
In His Grip,
Helga xx 🙂
