Unexpected Swellendam!

Roadtrip! David was leaving for a night in Swellendam today. His plan was to stop for the day in Grabouw on the way back tomorrow, but those plans fell through. I got this whatsapp “do you want to go to Swellendam?” Of course I do!! I am so keen to see Stacey. She is 5 months pregnant. So I packed an overnight bag and we set off.  As soon as we got over Sir Lowry’s Pass, it clouded over. We stopped at Peregrine Farm Stall….

The pies here are legendary…

Back on the road, we soon passed Riviersonderend and the road works began…three sets of stop & go…

We arrived in damp drizzly Swellendam at about 2-30pm. Ahh, it’s so quiet here.

It was wonderful to see Stacey. She is looking 5 months pregnant and is beginning to absolutely blossom. Wonderful spending time with all my children.

David is upstairs with her now. She is teaching him how to do his taxes. Adrian is working.  I am downstairs in my bedroom having worked a bit this afternoon.

#542 of my 1000 thanks is that I can be here and have a quick visit. 😀

Matthew 10:29-31

Are  not two sparrows sold for a copper coin? And not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father’s will. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.

These are the days.

Keep the smile going.

God bless you.

In His Grip,

Helga xx 🙂
