This morning Mike and I were almost home after having breakfast with Julian, when Mike’s cell phone rang. He was driving, so I answered it. It was Take-a-lot saying he was standing outside with our package. I didn’t know we were expecting anything, but as Mike heard who I was speaking to, he said he was. A few seconds later we drove up and the parcel was received.
I asked Mike what it was. “Aha! It’s your birthday present!”
He had found a really good deal on these…two for less than the price of one…they are fitness colour band watches, simple to charge with a very long (week) battery life, monitor heart rate and sync with my cell phone. One for Mike and one for me.
It’s going to be great to use and I can’t wait to get back to gym to try it out. It was actually just yesterday, I looked sadly at my old fitbit. I picked it up and wondered whether it could be fixed. The whole charging mechanism has broken and I think it is beyond repair. So for this to arrive unexpectedly was a great surprise!
#946 of my 1000 thanks is for a new fitness watch! 🙂
I did 5 hours of work and this evening we went to Imhoff. We haven’t been to Blue Water Cafe for years.
Imhoff is looking so lovely…it’s clean and well maintained…
The view from Blue Water Cafe is beautiful…
Dinner was really great as well.
I have discovered that the reason why the whole blog looked different to me was because I was entering it through the wrong portal. Now I’ve gone back to the right one, everything is all familiar! Yay!
8th November 2018 – Elsie is 5 and a half months and has begun sitting.
She is A-D-O-R-A-B-L-E! God willing, a week tomorrow I get to see her again!
Psalm 85:12
The Lord will indeed give what is good, and our land will yield its harvest.
That’s a great prayer to pray.
These are the days.
Keep the smile going.
God bless you.
In His Grip,
Helga xx 🙂
Today’s been a good day. Cough is less.
