Train Station Kind of Day

Friday

Dear Elsie

Today was a busy Friday. It was a train station kind of day with much coming and going. I worked for a bit, then we went to the beach. It was a beautiful day with lots of sunshine and not too much wind. The tide was super low so there wasn’t too much swimming to be done especially as we were there as the net was being put out. There were lots of people already soaking up the sun…

We enjoyed our time and then walked home.

Then it was time to say bye to the guests and Mike and I cleaned the Seaview Apartment. While we were doing that some gabion basked wire arrived, so we had to get that sorted. I did my bit of the apartment and then went back to work. At 1pm, I went to an appointment (facial) and then came home in time to meet the next guest.  Peter Michael came to see David. Heidi dropped off coffee and cat food was delivered by Take-a-lot.

With that all done, we sat down and watched the end of the cricket. SA beat Afghanistan. We face Australia on Thursday. WCC 2023 Semi-finals.

And now it’s weekend and we are happy.

Isaiah 40:10
See, the Sovereign Lord comes with power, and He rules with a mighty arm.

It’s not about now – we are only passing through.

Keep the smile going.

God bless you.

In His Grip,

Gran xx 🙂
