Three Steps Forward

Thursday

I definitely think we have made three steps forward today.

  1. The Light Steel Frame company we are working with completed the quote for the balance of the steel and got it to us before the 4% steel increase tomorrow. We paid it!
  2. Mike has finished the ‘as built’ plans and got them printed.3. We chose the tiles for the lower ground floor (basement) shower floor, so these will on the base of the walk in shower. We liked that they are different, although they didn’t have the blues/green/turquoise I was wanting. BUT, look at the price! They were reduced from R79.90  for 300mm to R29.90. That was a driving factor. Plus they match the wall and floor tile colours perfectly. This was very good progress.

The tiling is almost done…

I also worked almost 7 hours. The company for which I work is dragging me in more and more, so now I’m joining their weekly meeting every Monday. Now that’s commitment. It’s coming to the stage where the job is not a part-time, flexi-time, harry casual when I’m available job. It’s an almost full-time grown up job! Hey, we are building a house. Every penny counts. When I worked for the company through Upwork, I accumulated some US dollars and I’m quite excited to say that today that money was used to pay for a chunk of the light steel frame. The Bible verse in my diary today…

Genesis 32:12

You have said, “I will surely make you prosper.”

Everything we have comes from God. He is our Source. Everything else our resource.

These are the days.

Keep the smile going.

God bless you.

In His Grip,

Helga xx 🙂
