The Sea View Apartment

Friday

Today was the day…

We swam, despite the wind. It was a little windy – not blowing as hard as it is now, but a fresh south-easterly blew us to the beach. The sea was choppy, murky and chilly, but I still managed 2km. It took me a bit of time to warm up. Right now it’s really turbulent outside. The south-easter is howling. There will be no swimming tomorrow.

We got home, had a shower, breakfast and then I did an hour’s work.

Then it was down to the Little Lookout to spruce it up for guests. I get a bit intimidated when those who are coming also have an Airbnb. They know the drill and they know the expected standard. Whenever I start a deep clean, I get the feeling I’m on a reality show and someone is coming to assess me.  Always satisfying.

Guest arrived at 2:30pm. His wife comes later tonight and they are here for 3 nights.

Meantime, we have a blackboard up at our new rental unit. The place is not quite ready but is moving in the right direction.

Meantime, Courage is working on the wall.

It’s looking so good and is about to get higher.

I’m tired tonight. I went to bed later than usual last night and it’s all caught up with me.

Good night!

1 John 3:1

See how very much our Father loves us, for He calls us His children, and that is what we are!

The best is yet to come – we are only passing through.

Keep the smile going.

God bless you.

In His Grip,

Helga xx 🙂
