These are two things we are waiting for tonight. It’s expected to rain a bit and load shedding is expected in our area. We went out for dinner and came home just after the clock struck 8pm. That was the hour load shedding was due to kick in. We rushed inside to make coffee. I found candles, dug out dusty candle holders, found matches and boiled the kettle. It will be interesting to see if I get this posted before darkness.
Cape Town Load Shedding Schedule.
#975 of my 1000 thanks is for candles! They are so efficient.
I was at gym in time for the 6-30 functional fitness class. Home by 7-45am, showered, started work, met Julian for breakfast, back to work and worked right through to almost 6pm, with the odd eye break here and there. It did mean I worked more than 7 hours allowing me to catch up on a bit of work last over the last few days when we were away.
We enjoyed dinner at One Three Six Restaurant at Harbour Bay. Chicken was good.
That pretty much wraps up the day! A good one! Yeah! Did it! Got it published before the electricity went out!
Psalm 29:11
The Lord gives strength to His people; the Lord blesses His people with peace.
These are the days.
Keep the smile going.
God bless you.
In His Grip,
Helga xx 🙂
Gym:
- 2 minutes hand cycle
- 20 minutes half-grid-lean (I didn’t know what the gym instructor was talking about when he said ‘half’ – turns out it was only 3 rounds instead of 6, which is great, but I still had to fill an hour.
- 10 minutes abs class
- 10 minutes stretching
- 18 minutes on the bike.
