House Plans Are Done!

Today we are in a celebratory mood! The house plans are complete! Our plans lady sent us the final copy. Mike looked over it and is happy for them to be submitted. Submitted only mind you. There will be greater euphoria once the Council approves them in many months time. Meantime, the builder can start costing and planning. I know Jess, you and Gerrie will want to see them and so will Stacey, so here we are – the floor plan…you’ll have to zoom in to have a good look. The first storey is Mike and my floor. The second storey is Julian’s. The ground storey is the domestic quarters – we’ll use it for family visiting. You may have to zoom in.

This is our grand design. Mike designed it and Leanne perfected it. In relation to the current house, it looks like this.

God willing we will have enough money at the end for a funicular for which space has been reserved. We will still have to walk up 24 steps to get to the start of the funicular, but it sure will be better than 80!

#976 of my 1000 thanks is that the plans are ready for submission.

Unless the Lord builds the house, they that build it labour in vain! I don’t know what the Lord has in store for this house. Never in Mike and my wildest dreams would we ever imagine that we could possibly get to build a house like this. When Mike was at Bible Institute in Kalk Bay back in the late 70s, if he could have known what God had in store for him, he would never have believed it. God knows the future. We trust Him.

The day began with coffee, Bible reading, Gym and breakfast, all in that order. Then I  went to my final ladies meeting of the year. Wonderful friends, prayer and sushi! Pretty good!

Home and I’ve worked all afternoon, managing 3 hours which is fine.

Julian will arrive shortly and we will go walking before dinner.

Philippians 4:7

The peace of God which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Amen!

These are the days.

Keep the smile going.

God bless you.

In His Grip,

Helga xx 🙂
