Spot the Cat

Truffles has been climbing up onto the beams just below the balcony roof. From that point she has a closer view of the birds that come to feed on the seed and drink the bird nectar. When I’ve seen her there before, she would meow piteously before I climbed up and bought her down, but no longer. Spot the cat…

Meanwhile, the grapes are doing well…

Although I don’t know if we will get to them before the birds. In seasons past, I have covered them but when I’ve taken them down they have been filled with ants. I’m watching them closely. They should ripen by the end of January. White table grape.

This morning at gym, I ran 8km. I’ve spent most of the day recovering!

Tomorrow I will do less.

#511 of my 1000 thanks is that work was slow today, allowing me to recover! I’m not fit enough for 8km yet.

Mike went off to do his Christmas shopping. When he got back, we wrapped and labelled.  We are excited about Christmas. 🙂 The rest of the week is going to be busy, so I’m enjoying the relaxation that today has bought.

Today I read Habakkuk.

Habakkuk 2:20

But the Lord is in His holy temple; let all the earth be silent before Him.

These are the days!

Keep the smile going.

God bless you.

In His Grip,

Helga xx 🙂
