Someone I Haven’t Seen in 37 years

Thursday

Today was a good work day but I also did some housework. I scrubbed the kitchen floor!

The highlight of the day was visiting a friend who I have not seen for 37 years. Grahame Wray. He was a minister in Zimbabwe and I probably last saw him when I was 18. He married Debbie and they moved to Mutare where they stayed for a number of years. They eventually settled in Leeds and that’s where they still are. Debbie, sadly wasn’t able to make this trip, but it was super to see Grahame and to catch up. He was at BI 1974 to 1976. Mike was there 1977-1979.

This is Grahame’s brother, Chris, Grahame and I…

We had a good time catching up and only got home at 7-30pm so ended up having a very late dinner.

Mike and I did swing round to the site today to see if there was any new development. I know Werner is waiting for an engineer visit in order to proceed to building the walls for the basement. At the moment the basement slab is a bit crowded!

This week has flown by and I am certainly looking forward to the weekend.

1 Corinthians 1:9

God is faithful, who has called you into fellowship with His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

Amen!

These are the days.

Keep the smile going.

God bless you.

In His Grip,

Helga xx 🙂
