It was a warm summer’s day so a treat to have the basement in which to shelter from the sun…
I also went through his quote again with him, deciphering his hand-writing and getting an idea of how far we were and how much we still had to spend. This weekend I will put it all on a spreadsheet so we know where we are at. He also spoke extensively about the electrics. I think he finds it all a bit amusing that Mike is doing the electrics. We are going to be spending a lot of time on site. Mike went a bought a whole stack of material for the next floors and tomorrow we will go down early and start doing some work.
Our meeting ended just after 12 noon with all of us happy. I asked Werner if he was happy and he is. I asked Mike if he is happy and he is. If they are happy, then I’m happy. 😀😀😀 If we are happy, Julian is happy. 😀
Four happy faces! I said to Mike I am beginning to believe that we may live in this house! It’s going from a pipe dream to reality.
I spent the next few hours working. It was 34C outside the gym. 27C in our garage. I have a fan on my desk so that helps. Mike went shopping. I went to gym and am about to shower and then we are out for dinner.
