Today was the day…
Our lovely guests left and they left the cottage spotless. I stripped the bed and did the laundry and put it back together again. Next guests in on Thursday, this time with a dog called Bambini! I enjoyed chilling at the lounge window for a few minutes…that’s my foot…
Meantime, Courage spent some time making the door for under the house. It is so effective in keeping the wind out. He and Mike were rather shady characters…although the plan is to keep real shady characters out as well as the wind!
These corrugated plastic sheets are great – they let the light in and provide an effective barrier. It’s making for an effective workshop/utility room. We may even put in a washing machine.
Julian arrived today. We had an early dinner with him and David joined us as well.
The wind has been howling. I’m hoping it will drop sufficiently enough for Mike and I to go swimming tomorrow.
