2-24pm
The sequence of events was as follows: On Friday evening, when Mike got home, he said something like, “Ooh, I feel I’m coming down with something!” By Saturday morning, he wasn’t feeling that great, so after we went out for breakfast, he retired to bed and proceeded to go from bad to worse, spending Saturday to today in bed! By Sunday evening, I was saying, “Ooh, I think you’ve passed it onto me.” I didn’t feel too bad on Monday but by Monday afternoon, it had got me. I got up this morning and did the show with as much energy as I could manage…the sunrise was spectacular…
Wayne came in his monkey suit…
He’s so funny! I said, “I’m feeling grim.” He replied, “I’m fine!” 😀
Straight after the show I went home, stopping at the roadworks and admiring the tree…
Mike is on the mend, which means that I should be where he is by Thursday! David is off to buy dinner! 🙂
Tomorrow, we have the ‘Workout Wednesday’ Rise and Shine show with Professor Tim Noakes in the studio from 7-8am. Wayne will be there too. Regardless of how bleak I feel, I will leap out of bed, dose myself well, if I need to & not miss a moment of it!
Bedrest is good. I’ve drunk three cups of tea, slept, done some reading and watched Dr. Phil as well as Keeping Up Appearances.
Now the blog is done. The ONLY thing I will have to do later is put Granny to bed. I’ll be sure not to breathe all over her!
“People don’t die of trifling little colds. . .” so said Mrs. Bennet in Pride & Prejudice (thanks Jane Austen) but someone else once said, “although I think sometimes they feel they are!”
Thank you for good health!
Acts 17:24 “The God who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in temples built by hands.”
God bless you loads!
In His Grip,
Helga xx 🙂
