Morgan is Home

Yay! The main event today was seeing Morgan arrive home from her holiday home to the States. It’s good to see her home safe and sound!

That was the big home event, but the big work event kept me busy all day. The first date of departure was announced for the first group of teachers we have placed in the UAE. Immediately they started phoning and messaging. The news spread like wildfire and I have been inundated with calls or messages from those going and those not, who call to find out when they may be. I felt the excitement and the anxiety – after months of waiting (some interviewed in November) – this is really happening! They can’t believe it and their minds are racing as they try to figure out how they are going to do the final things before departure. I have learned that this is an opportunity of a lifetime for them. It’s an amazing achievement to get through the interview process and to get accepted. Not everyone does, so when they do, they need to hang onto the opportunity and go for it. When I look at the applicants, I smile. I’m really excited for them. I hope they do well and my prayers go with them.

Tomorrow is Friday and it is weekend again in Abu Dhabi so I don’t think any more itineraries will be released before Sunday when the new Middle East week begins.

#341 of my 1000 thanks is for those tickets and visas that are arriving. Yippee!

There is a little rain forecast for tomorrow. I hope it comes. I found a great Bible verse for God’s provision of rain.

Psalm 147:8

He covers the sky with clouds. He supplies the earth with rain.

These are the days!

Keep the smile going.

God bless you!

In His Grip,

Helga xx 🙂
