More Dolphins in the Bay

Wednesday

Today was the day…

I worked 11 hours! I have caught up with a lot of work and feel more on top of things which is great with the weekend coming.

It was ideal swimming conditions down at the beach – the water was crystal clear and with the north wind blowing, it was flat. Not long after we got out the water, dolphins were spotted quite close to the beach. I’m not sure what it is with these dusky dolphins, but they were having a grand old time that continued way into the afternoon. There are often photographers down at the beach for just these occasions. One, named Wendy, shared a couple of photos with the local Whatsapp group…leaping and flipping and porpoising…

A lovely sight. They were quite far from us, but I could get a glimpse of their activity through the binocs.

It’s a full moon tonight – which is also always a great attraction for photographers. Tonight there is also thick cloud so there’s not much moon to be seen, but someone (Eva) did capture it rising over the beach…

Meanwhile, back at home, progress is being made on the wall…

For the rest of this week, Schoolboy is here helping Courage with some of the cement and sand.

So even though my eyes have been largely glued to my computer for most of the day, I’m glad to have a few distractions to enjoy during tea and lunch breaks! Tomorrow, I think, won’t be quite as long.

Time now for some down time!

Psalm 111:2

Great are the works of the Lord;  they are pondered by all who delight in them.

The best is yet to come – we are only passing through.

Keep the smile going.

God bless you.

In His Grip,

Helga xx 🙂
