For the first time in 29 birthday’s, Mike woke up with me not in his bed! I flew to Durban yesterday, had a lovely dinner with friends in the evening (those who know them – it was with Guy and Michelle! I know, hey! Wasn’t I blessed?!)
When I got back to the BnB, I called Mike before I went to sleep and then slept soundly. Earllly in the morning, I heard an sms come through, but was not awake enough to get up and read it. Some time later I surfaced and got up to take my phone off charge and have a look. The sms was from Mike!
I called him back and wished him happy birthday. We chatted for about half an hour and then he went back to sleep and I got up.
By 6-30am, I was at the Hilton Hotel in Durban and my work commenced. After a busy morning, my transport arrived at 12-45 and I was taken to the airport.
Back in Cape Town, in the morning, Mike, Stace and Adrian went to church and then out for breakfast, where David joined them. They then went back to the house. I had just boarded the plane when this came through…family selfie! I loved it!
So I sent this one back…
The flight was on time and by 4-30pm, I was hopping in the car and Mike & I were driving home. 
Dinner was a merry affair with lots of conversation and laughter.
My cup overflowed. 🙂 This is what I hope for…

And now the weekend has ended. I’m done – about to shower and lay down my head!
Tomorrow is Mike’s last day!
