Tuesday
Mike was up early this morning working to prepare for the final onslaught of the electrical box. When I finished with a team meeting at about 12 noon, he turned the electricity off and got on with the job. I went out for a few hours. When I came back at just after 2pm, he was very close to done. I was able to catch up on some work before he turned off the power for the final time to finish the job.
Now if there is load-shedding we are ready.
It took Mike a few days but by doing it himself, he’s saved a bucket-load of cash. I feel like putting in a disclaimer at this point #don’ttrythisathome! He did such a good job. I was happy to cook him a good dinner and then clean the kitchen, so tomorrow we are back to normal.
Today, I received an email from our plans lady saying another City of Cape Town invoice needed payment. A small one, but another step in the right direction.
And that is pretty much all that happened today. It’s been a good day and we are grateful! This is a late blog because I’ve been watching Marie Kondo videos!
Matthew 5:9
Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.
These are the days.
Keep the smile going.
God bless you.
