Thursday
Mike has worked about 19 hours after the last two days to get some changes down to the plans. They’ve now been emailed off to the builder as well as the Light Steel Frame company for an accurate quote and the engineer to design the T-beam. Mike designed the interior steps. It was a mammoth job but it is now done.
We took the one page down to the site for the foremen to have as there is a window he needs to know about. There was a team of 6 on site. Three carrying sand and stone up to the site….
And three building the back wall…
The view from the balcony will pretty much be the same once the house is complete…
It was a beautiful day in Cape Town.
I only did 5 and a half hours work today. I had tea with Riana and managed to get to gym. This evening Mike and I took a walk around the neighbourhood. One of the nicest things about Thursday is it is the start of the Middle East weekend, so Fridays are much quieter. Today Wibernet got installed at Echo which has upped the internet to another level. Tomorrow the alarm company comes to our house here to service the alarm and (probably) change the battery. The alarm has been going off at random times with no cause.
Time to say goodbye to 20th February. The days just fly by.
