Meggy is Riana’s dog. Truffles is my cat. Meggy loves chasing cats, so on the odd occasion when Riana comes to visit with Meggy in tow, we make sure Truffles is out of sight. Today we didn’t get it right. I had done a load of washing which was about to go on the line when Riana arrived. We went out the back with Meggy off her leash. Truffles was sitting enjoying the sunshine when suddenly she found herself face to face with a barking intruder. She stood her ground! Meggy didn’t quite know what to do. She was a bit uncertain that she might get attacked so she stood a few feet away woofing her little lungs out. Truffles looked startled but not afraid. Eventually, Riana put Meggy on her leash and that’s when inquiring curiosity began. Meggy trying to get closer….
Meggy determined to smell this creature…Truffles wary…
Eventually Meggy got distracted by some food Riana had put down…Truffles looked on…
Eventually, Truffles had to have some too. Meggy let her.
It was a very cute visit!
That was part of the day. I woke up shortly after 5am and by 6-20am was at gym.
I got 7 and a half hours of work done and in between I did two loads of washing. It was a very productive day! I’m excited about work. Time now to chill.
Colossians 3:12
Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.
These are the days.
Keep the smile going.
God bless you.
