Lock Down Day 34

Wednesday

Today was the day…

That was beautiful and sunny, so I went “out” for coffee. I sat on the balcony and watched the early morning dawn. It was wonderful.

I worked for 9 hours. It was a crazy work day.  I get so absorbed in what I’m doing, that it’s a complete distraction from the pandemic.

Mike worked at changing a batch of the lights in the cottage. He also tried a unique experiment. One of the biggest issues with the cottage is that it is cold. The second bedroom gets no sun at all, but in the afternoon it does shine against that bedroom wall. The wall faces the boundary wall so has no view and no one can see it, so Mike marked out a huge square where he observed the sun shining and painted it black.  Hopefully that will make a little difference.

I asked my street whatsapp group if anyone had any children’s books that I could borrow to video myself reading them for Elsie. Corinne replied she did and I walked to the corner and picked them up. Now they are ‘isolating’ and in a day or two I’ll start this special fun project.

Corona stats for the day. I looked up how many cases in Cape Town and where they are…these stats are from 27th April..the numbers of cases are in red.

The USA to Portugal

And South Africa’s for yesterday…

I think today’s will come out in the next hour. We carry on going. Tomorrow is the last day before we go to Level 4 lock down which means we can exercise in a 5km radius of our home! Yeah!

Hebrews 11:6

Without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him.

These are the days.

Keep the smile going.

God bless you.

In His Grip,

Helga xx 🙂
